Aug 22 - Met with Hon. Jack Hayden at the announcement of the Rural Alberta's Development Fund award to the Canadian Badlands Ltd. for rural tourism & discussed the Roundhouse project with him & provided him with a copy of the roundhouse presentation.
September 10,- Received permission from the owner of the property authorizing Sandra Beaudoin to manage the roundhouse property on her behalf & permission to post signs to discourage vandals & trespassing & to report any unusual activity to the authorities.
September 23 - Letter of support received from Hon. Jack Hayden, Minister of Infrastructure, MLA Drumheller-Stettler, for the project to restore the CN Roundhouse to focus on the history of the CN railroad.
October 1 - Letter of support for the project received from Chamber Manager, Becky Linn of the Hanna & District Chamber of Commerce.
October 7 - Letter of intent to retain Darrel Babuk to provide historical railway architecture consultation services to restore the Great Northern Railway/Canadian National Railway roundhouse.
October 13 - Laurie Armstrong, Director of Economic Development & Tourism was appointed as a representative of the Town of Hanna to the Hanna Roundhouse Restoration Committee.
October 13 - Update presentation to Town Council regarding the progress on the restoration of the Hanna Roundhouse completed to date.

Sept 2 - Submitted letter to the Editor to Hanna Herald nominating the Hanna Roundhouse Society project for Hanna's Centennial Celebration.
September 7 - Completed & submitted nomination form for the HERITAGE CANADA FOUNDATION TOP TEN ENDANGERED PLACES LIST.
September 9 - Made a presentation to the Centennial Committee with a request to adopt the Hanna Roundhouse Society Projects as part of the Hanna Centennial celebration:
Living history of citizens.
Art contest for all ages depicting local history along the area of the rail. Purpose is to provide positive exposure to the talented people in the rural communities so the artists can increase their exposure in the Art society.
Beautification of the roundhouse & surrounding area.
Pursue a cultural center on the property for live performances.
