What is a Community Kitchen?
A Community Kitchen is a small group of people who get together to cook cost effective, healthy meals. Generally, groups meet twice per month, once to plan their meals and once to cook their meals. They make about 4 to 5 meals per session and bring them home to their families for the week. Members do not pay a fee to register for the program, but do pay for half of the food per session. The sponsor of the program pays for the other half.
