Introducing Julia!

Hello everyone! My name is Julia Cavenagh, and I am so excited to be working at the pool as the Pool Manager again this summer. This will be my fourth summer working at the pool, but I have spent countless summers at the pool: swimming and coaching for the Hanna Seals Swim Club, taking swimming lessons & advanced aquatic courses, as well as going for leisurely swims with friends.

I believe that taking on this role not only reflects my passion for swimming and fitness, but also a passion for first aid and medical care. I have just completed the first year of my Bachelor of Science at Macewan University, and afterwards I plan to find a career somewhere in the medical field.

The pool is a great place to enjoy the warm weather, spend time with friends and family, improve your swimming skills, and take courses to further educate yourself in aquatic knowledge. I hope that this summer, this can be a place where people of all ages and interests can find something to enjoy. I am looking forward to the upcoming pool season!

Make sure to check out the pool schedule for the 2026 season — we are carrying over our extended hours from last season, as well as numerous aquafit classes, advanced aquatic courses, swimming lessons, and special events. We are all very excited for opening day!
