- Deadline to file papers: 12:00 noon, September 22, 2025.
New Law
Before you can be nominated, you must complete and file a Notice of Intent to Run. This is required by law.
How to Get Started
- Complete a Notice of Intent to Run form.
- Make an appointment with the Returning Officer to hand in the completed form.
- Pick up or download a Nomination Package.
- Complete all nomination papers, carefully following all instructions.
- Submit your nomination papers in person, with the Returning Officer by the deadline.

All forms and packages are available on the Town’s Election Webpage at https://hanna.ca/election AND can be picked up at the Town Office 302 2 Avenue West. Open M-F from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
