Congratulations to Lindsey Stefan who recently acquired a Town of Hanna business license for her new business, “Blackbird Apothecary & Beauty Bar.”

Hanna is home to a new destination for holistic skincare and beauty services! Blackbird Apothecary & Beauty Bar is owned and operated by Lindsey Stefan, a certified esthetician with a passion for natural wellness and handcrafted skincare. Lindsey has created a space where self-care is top priority, and she loves making others feel their best. 

After years of working in various esthetics positions including teaching at a beauty college in Calgary, Lindsey took a break from her career to start a family, and to move from the city to a quieter life in Special Areas, where Lindsey’s family is originally from. She and her husband chose to set down roots in the areas for its welcoming community and peaceful pace. She’s excited to bring her whole-body approach to beauty to Hanna, and offer something truly unique to local residents.

Blackbird Apothecary & Beauty Bar offers a variety of services including holistic facials, lash lifts and tints, brow shaping, laminating and tinting, and sugaring hair removal. All facials are customized and may include facial massage, LED light therapy, microcurrent. Lindsey’s also had her own line of tallow-based skincare products — lovingly crafted using locally sourced tallow, herbal infusions, oils, and clean, skin-supportive ingredients.
