Harvest Sky Animal Rescue (HSAR) relies heavily on volunteers to run day-to-day operations, but not everyone has the time to commit. Fortunately, there are other ways to support HSAR and make a meaningful impact in the lives of animals.
One of the most direct ways to help is through donations. Every dollar goes toward veterinary bills, food, and supplies that keep the animals healthy and comfortable. HSAR also relies on foster homes to provide temporary shelter for animals in transition.
“Fostering is a wonderful way to help if you’re not ready to adopt,” says Trevor Kerr, the chairperson of HSAR. “We cover all the expenses; you just need to provide a safe and loving environment.”
Other ways to support HSAR can include:
- Donate: Pet food, cleaning products, and blankets are always needed and can be found in pet friendly establishments in Hanna. Financial contributions cover vet bills, food, rent and other essential expenses.
- Foster: Provide a temporary home for an animal in need. HSAR covers all expenses, you provide the love.
- Share: Spread the word on social media and talk to your friends, family and co-workers about the good work HSAR is doing.
- Fundraise: Watch social media and participate in fundraisers. Participation is not limited to purchasing, people will be needed to help market and sell too!
