Way to go Hanna!

On July 31, 2025 a total of 2060 lengths were completed in memory of Garth Hanlon, an avid swimmer and active member of the community.

Garth’s passion for swimming lives on through his six grandchildren, all of whom have been members of the Hanna Seals Swim Club, even one bringing home a provincial gold medal. Four of his grandchildren have also followed in his footsteps, becoming lifeguards at the Hanna pool. In 2025, Garth’s grandchildren collectively swam 654 lengths in his memory on July 31. Garth would have been immensely proud of each of them.
