The Town of Hanna is committed to keeping streets clean and waste collection system running smoothly. To ensure efficient garbage pickup and to prevent litter and animal disturbances, we ask all residents to follow these simple waste disposal rules for limits and containment.
- 3 Bags Maximum: Each residence is permitted to put out three bags of household waste for collection on their designated pickup day.
- Bags Must be in Bins: To help keep things tidy and sanitary all garbage bags must be placed inside proper bins with secure lids. Loose bags may not be collected.
More than three bags? Easy! Buy a tag!
If you need to put out more than three bags, extra tags can be purchased at the Town Office. The tags are $2.50 each. Attach the tag to the additional bag and it will be collected on your regular garbage day.
Failure to follow these rules may result in a $50 fine.
