Hello Hanna! Spring is in the air, and while we love the season of renewal, it also brings a flurry of activity at the Town Office. Our staff is working hard behind the scenes, so if you have a concern to report, we kindly ask that you use the online Report a Concern form rather than phoning the office. This helps to keep things running smoothly and ensures your concerns are directed to the right place.
With warmer weather comes outdoor projects. Remember, a permit is required for the construction of ALL fences, including replacement of an old fence.
Also, a friendly heads-up to property owners – assessment notices have been mailed out. Now is the time to review them and reach out to the assessor if you have any questions. If you wish to file a complaint with the Assessment Review Board, the deadline is May 20, 2025.
Lastly, are you renting a Town of Hanna facility? If you run into any issues after hours, just call the office number (403) 854-4433 and press – 4 when prompted. Your call will be redirected to the appropriate staff member.
Remember, another great way to be informed about all of these reminders is to sign up for our electronic newsletter. It’s a great way to receive important updates right in your inbox. Look for the signup at the bottom of every page on our website.
As always your cooperation is appreciated. See you around town!
Your Mayor
