Within the week of “Outdoor Explorers” adventurers will get to make nature themed crafts such as bird house painting, and leaf stamping art. We will also go for nature walks near the parks/playgrounds around town and play various fun outdoors themed games. We will be going to the pool on Thursday so please send your child with pool gear that day. Because the theme of this week is nature related, we will be spending most of the week outside so please make sure your child brings weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and bug spray as needed.

Within the week of “Trip to the Past” adventurers will get to make crafts based on different time periods, such as the time of the dinosaurs where we will make dinosaur fossil imprints in clay. We will also play some fun dinosaur/back in time themed games in the gym or outside at the park. Tuesday we will be going to the pool and Thursday we are going to the spray park so please make sure your child has swim gear those days. Wednesday we will go on a field trip to the Tyrrell Museum and a separate newsletter will be sent home for the kids signed up for that day with more information.
