Owners of property in Hanna have until Aug 31, 2024 to make sure their taxes are paid without penalty. Penalties will be applied as follows, starting Sept 4, 2024.
Sept 4, 2024: 4% penalty will be applied to any current taxes owing.
Oct 1, 2024: Another 4% penalty will be applied to any current taxes owing.
Please note the following and contact the Town Office if:
- You have recently purchased a property and are not sure whether you are responsible for the full amount of taxes due.
- You have recently sold a property and are not responsible for the full amount of taxes due.
- You have not received a tax notice.
- You would like to discuss payment options.
- You would like to set up monthly payments to be drawn from your bank account.
