WestMET Community Grant Deadline

WestMET Community Grant Deadline

WestMET Group Canada Ltd. established the WestMET Community Fund, with an initial $42,880 donation to the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta (CFSEA). They have committed to provide an annual gift to CFSEA for 25 years. Each year, part of the donation will go directly toward community grants, while the rest will be invested in the WestMET Community endowment fund. This new grant stream will support local initiatives and community-based organizations for the people of Special Area 2, Town of Hanna, and Village of Youngstown.

Eligibility

Organizations who are registered with CRA as a qualified donee or apply in partnership with a qualified donee to be eligible.

Organization MUST be located and operated within Special Areas No. 2, Town of Hanna, and Village of Youngstown whose activities are within the Foundation’s policies.

The Application Process

Applications are reviewed by an Advisory Committee established by WestMET which includes a representative(s) from CFSEA’s Grants Committee or local Prairie Crocus Community Fund Advisory Committee, representation from each area supported, and the WestMET project manager.

Application Opens: March 3rd, 2025 at noon. 
Application Deadline: 
March 28th, 2025 at noon.
