Ball Diamonds and Soccer Fields

The Town of Hanna has six ball diamonds which are suitable for all types of ball. These diamonds serve Hanna Minor Ball, the Adult Slo-pitch league and are also available for group function rentals.

Hanna’s ball diamonds are named for people who were influential in maintaining the sport of Baseball in our community. Each diamond has different amenities, but they all have something to offer players and spectators alike.

If you would like to take advantage of any open ball diamonds, please contact the Town Office. We will check our regular user schedules and work to accommodate you.

Soccer

Address: Corner of 12th Avenue & 3rd Street West

The soccer fields in Hanna are located just east of the Triplex Ball Diamonds, with access to the washrooms, play equipment and common parking area.

Hanna is pleased to have two full sized soccer fields separated by a berm which serves as an area for spectator viewing and division of the fields.  The fields are surrounded by grassed areas for practice by soccer players from 3 years and older.

The soccer fields were developed by a dedicated group of enthusiasts for the game.  In 2001 volunteers with the Hanna Minor Soccer Association approached the Town for a loan to allow them to upgrade the fields.  The loan was granted and the volunteers worked in coordination with Town staff to make significant improvements to the fields.  The success of the united effort has provided another great recreation opportunity to residents of Hanna & district.

The fields are available for bookings by contacting the Town of Hanna Office.
