The Hanna Visitor Information Centre is opening on Saturday, May 18.
The VIC will be open in May and June on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Harvest Sky is excited to be partnering again with the Town to manage the VIC, its just one of a few tourism initiatives we’ve been working on the past few years (see image following for more projects in progress).
As a key mandate of Harvest Sky, partnerships have been formed with a number of regional tourism organizations such as Travel Special Areas, Travel Drumheller and Travel Alberta to boost visitation in our region. Partnerships help to market regional assets such as the Golf Course, Museums and Parks to a wide variety of people throughout the province and beyond. Partnerships also help bring in money to enhance tourism assets.
Tourism helps drive economic development by bringing in dollars from outside the region but it also spreads the message about what Hanna has to offer. Tourism can lead to potential new residents and new residents lead to new business.
