Budget Meeting

​Municipal Councils must approve a Financial plan annually. The financial plan is to consist of
– Three-year Operating budget for 2025-2028
– Five-year Capital budget for 2025-2029
Administration is targeting the Dec 10, 2024, Regular Council Meeting as the date to approve the 2025-2028 Operating budget and 2025-2029 Capital budget.

These plans are reviewed by Council annually and amended as required. Because the budget will be approved prior to receipt of assessment changes, requisitions, and grant allocations, the budget will be brought before Council in the spring of 2025 for review prior to approving the annual Tax Rate Bylaw.

In order to review and discuss these budgets, Council will meet at the following times. These meetings are open to the public and will not be live streamed on Hanna TV.

Budget Meetings for the 2025 budget preparations are scheduled to be held:

Monday Nov 25th, 7:00 pm
Tuesday Dec 3rd, 9:00 am
