It’s time to pull out your cowboy hat, boots and get ready for the Hanna Indoor Pro Rodeo Sept 13 and 14. Visit the Hanna Indoor Rodeo Website and look for Rodeo Events. Here you will find information and Rodeo 101 education and rules about the competition.

Friday Sept 13, 2024

• 9:00 am – 10:00 am: Rodeo Queens visit Gr. K-6 at JCC School.
• 9:30 am – 10:30 am: Coffee with Dennis Halstead. Sr. Lodge.
• 11:00 am – 1:30 pm: BBQ at Cooperators with proceeds to Kiddies Korner.
• 11:00 am – 2:30 pm: Rodeo chili cook off at ATB. 2024 funds go to J.C. Charyk Grade 5 Circle Square Ranch Camp Out. (403) 854-4405.
• 11:00 am – 2:30 pm: Outdoor Street Market. 1 St. West. Special guest appearance by Dennis Halstead. Rodeo Clown, 10X CPRA Entertainer of the Year.
• 11:00 am – 2:30 pm: Bake Sale to support JC Charyk Gr. 5 Campout 2025. Located at the Outdoor Street Market.
• 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Queens judging for Best Store Decorating.
• 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Rodeo Queens visit Hanna Lodge.
• 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm: Rodeo Queens visit Eye Candy and a stop at the Football Game.
• 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Rodeo Queens visit Freson Bros.
• 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Western Market at Community Center. Contact Carly Cruikshank – 403-872-5141
• 6:00 pm: The first 200 attendees to the Family Movie Night can enjoy free BBQ followed by games.
• 6:45 pm: Stick Horse Races at the Rodeo
• 7:00 pm: Indoor Rodeo. Intermission is Wild Pony Races.
• 7:30 pm: Inside Out 2: Family Movie. North Gym INSIDE JCC School. Admission fee applies. Concession available.

Saturday Sept 14, 2024

• 8:30 am – 10:00 am: Elks Pancake Breakfast at the Arena
• 9:30 am – 5:00 pm: Western Market at Hanna Community Center. Contact Carly Cruikshank – 403-872-5141.
• 9:45 am – 10:45 am: Photos with Rodeo Queens at Buckbrush Farmhouse.
• 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Deadline for late entries for Kids Dummy Roping at Community Centre.
• 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Petting Zoo at Buckbrush Farmhouse.
• 11:00 am: Rodeo Slack.
• 11:30 am: Autographs with Professional Rodeo Clown and Barrelman Dennis Halsted, Bullfighters, Contestants and Rodeo Royalty at Hanna Chrysler.
• 12:00 noon: Pie Eating Contest at Hanna Chrysler.
• 1:00 pm: Smoker BBQ Lunch at Fresh Market
• 2:00 pm: Dummy Roping Event for Kids at the Community Centre.  403-872-5141 to enter.
• 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Roundhouse Open with History Displays.
• 5:45 pm: Stick Horse Races at the Rodeo.
