Hanna Volunteer Firefighters were honoured with Exemplary Service Medals for decades of dedicated service.
Fire Services Exemplary Service Medals, created Aug 29, 1985, honours members of a recognized Canadian fire service who have completed 20 years of service, ten years of which have been served in the performance of duties involving potential risks, and were employed on or after the date of creation of the Medal.
The esteemed ceremony was held at the Weston Hotel in Edmonton AB on Nov 26, 2023. The recipients of the prestigious award have proudly shown the spirit of service and sacrifice and the Town of Hanna would like to extend sincere congratulations and gratitude for their years of service.
