January 11, 2024

With the recent chill in the air, maybe you want to learn or brush up on your crafting skills? Imagine a digital library of crafting videos and tutorials on demand, to keep you busy and warm this winter. The Hanna Library would like to introduce you to “Creativebug” the number one inspirational resource for DIY, crafters and makers.

What is Creativebug?

Creativebug is a digital resource that provides on-demand arts and crafts instructional videos including drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, backing and more. Each video includes an in-depth description, material list, transcript, and community discussion section. All classes are taught by experts, with new classes added daily.

Where do I find it?

Accessing Creativebug is simple if you are a member of the Hanna Library. Visit the Hanna Library website or use the Creativebug app to seamlessly browse the video collection at your leisure. The platform is compatible with most devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and computers, ensuring that members can craft and learn new skills whenever and wherever they please.

Whether you are looking for new ideas for your next knitting project, learning a new skill or planning creative crafts for a birthday party, Creativebug is ready to cater to your crafting needs, around the clock.

What is the fee?

$0. That’s right. Hanna Library memberships are free of charge and as a member, you can enjoy the benefits of Creativebug without any extra cost to your household. A Creativebug membership is typically over $70/year but with your membership. This is just one more way your library membership leverages technology to enrich the lives of members.
