Paperless Billing: Exciting Updates

Are you tired of keeping track of paper? Do you want a more efficient solution to manage your utility bills? If yes, then it’s time to switch to Paperless Billing. The freshly launched layout introduces new features. You can still register and view your Town of Hanna utility bill online, but the the ability to link multiple accounts to one utility account is new to the system. That means that both tenants and landlords can register to manage the same utility account.

Freshly Launched

If you already take advantage of paperless billing, you will be required to activate your account by resetting your password. Navigate to myhanna.ca and click Forgot Password. Then follow the prompts to complete the process.

New to Paperless Billing

If you’re new to Paperless Billing, don’t worry, the process is straightforward. To get started, you need to create an account. Visit MyHanna.ca and select the “Register” option. Fill in the required details – your name, email, and password. Once you’ve filled out the form, click on ‘Create an Account’.

Link your Utility Account

Now that you have successfully registered, it’s time to link your utility accounts. Sign in at MyHanna.ca and click on the “Utility Bills” option. Select your account number from the dropdown under “Your Accounts”. Any utility accounts that you’ve linked will be visible to you. This feature is especially handy if you’re a business owner or a bookkeeper who needs to manage multiple accounts. It is also helpful for landlords and tenants since both parties can ensure the bills are being paid on time. It’s convenient since multiple accounts can be linked to one utility account.

View Future Bills

With your accounts now linked, you can start viewing your future bills. Sign in at MyHanna.ca and select “Utility Bills”. If you need to add a new utility account, enter your account number and access code from your paper utility invoice and click on “Add Account”. Once added, you can view your bills. Keep in mind that the balance owing reflects the billing dates and may differ from the current account balance.

Hanna’s paperless billing system is designed with user convenience in mind. Landlords and tenants can register to view invoices, making it easy to manage utilities in rental properties. A unique feature of our system is that both a business owner and a bookkeeper can log in separately, making it easier to manage accounts and payments. Additionally, multiple accounts can be linked to one utility account, offering users more flexibility.
