Palliser Regional Municipal Services (PRMS) announces significant changes to the Safety Code Permitting process, effective Jan 2, 2024. This relocation brings about an enhanced and streamlined system, offering convenience and efficiency to residents and stakeholders.
New Office Location
The permitting office will now be situated at the PRMS Hanna Office, located at 115 Palliser Trail, Box 1900, Hanna, Alberta, T0J 1P0. For any inquiries or assistance, you can contact PRMS at 877-854-3371 ext. 208 or via email at permits@palliserservices.ca. Notably, all permits can now be applied for and received through email, making the process more accessible and user-friendly.
Online Application Process
To further simplify the application process, PRMS has introduced an online application option. Safety Code forms can be printed or filled out online directly from the official website: Palliser Regional Municipal Services Safety Codes Forms. The website is a valuable resource, providing updated forms, fees, checklists, and other essential information related to safety code permitting.
RFP For Safety Code Services
Simultaneously, PRMS is in the process of creating a Request For Proposal (RFP) for Safety Codes Services, encompassing inspection and compliance monitoring services contracts. This initiative is expected to bring about permit fee revisions. The review of proposals for the inspection service contract is scheduled for February.

Individuals interested in contributing to the Safety Codes team and reviewing the RFPs are invited to contact Devin Diano at ddiano@palliserservices.ca before Jan 31, 2024. The RFP Committee will be formed by the Board of Directors during the Feb 1st meeting.
